The International Essential Tremor Foundation is THE place to go if you or a loved one wants more information, need help finding a neurologist who specializes in Movement Disorders (MDS), and support. They have a private Facebook support group which boasts over 17,000 members worldwide.

Finding them five years ago was a game changer for me. Learning how to talk about ET, different hacks to make life a little easier (really just a little less frustration). I’ve actually connected in real life with members in my area! Helps to know that you’re not alone.

So if you have questions or wonder where to start to learn about ET and/or Parkinson’s check them out. They offer free online customized medical alert cards too which you can print out and keep in your wallet and car (this can be super super handy).
